Public transportation or walking is encouraged but if you must drive, downtown San Antonio has more than 26,000 parking spots available for Final Four-related events. Follow these tips to secure the best parking spot possible.

DOWNTOWN PARKING: There are numerous parking locations throughout the city. We recommend planning ahead when choosing where to park. Click here for more information.

RESERVED PARKING: Fans can pre-purchase a parking spot for any event in downtown San Antonio at a guaranteed rate. Click here to reserve your parking.

GAME DAY PARKING: Limited advance purchase parking passes will be sold at the Alamodome.

Park & Ride

Avoid the traffic and take VIA Park & Ride Service to get to March Madness Music Festival and Fan Fest with free parking from three Park & Ride locations.


The first bus departs each Park & Ride location one hour before the gates open at Music Fest. Return service will run for 30 minutes after the end of each concert day. Click here for more information.

Tickets can be purchased on the VIA goMobile app and on event day at the Park & Ride location, using cash or credit.

The Park & Ride fare is $5.00 roundtrip for adults (two one-way trips of $2.50 each) with discounts available for children, seniors and students with valid ID.

Children much be 57 inches or taller and over 80 pounds. Children much be 8 years old or over. Children must be able to sit all the way back in the seat with their knees bent comfortably at the edge of the vehicle seat cushion.


If you’re on the River Walk, try a river taxi. Look for the Go Rio Shuttle signs that are located throughout the River Walk downtown and on the Museum Reach. Shuttle service begins daily at 10:00 a.m. Shuttles run approximately every 45 minutes.

One day pass = $12.00 for Downtown or Museum Reach.

Shuttle tickets may be purchased on the boat or at any Go Rio Ticket Booth.


COCA-COLA Pedicabs

Grab complimentary rides to the Final Four Fan Fest, March Madness Music Festival, and the Alamodome! Coca-Cola Pedicabs will offer complimentary rides and refreshing Coca-Cola beverages all day long around Downtown San Antonio. Rides are available Friday through Monday during Final Four weekend starting at the check-in tent at E. Commerce and Navarro St.

Coca-Cola pedicab hours: Friday, March 30 - Monday, April 2 from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

  • Coca-Cola pedicabs will take you to your next Final Four destination at no cost.
  • Coca-Cola pedicabs will keep rides within the Fan Fest, Music Fest, and Alamodome areas.
  • They cannot take you to a private residence.
  • They cannot wait for you to run inside an establishment.
  • Children must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.


Swell Cycle bike share stations are located throughout downtown, offering more than 500 bikes for rental – great for short trips, quick adventures or exploring the Mission Reach.

Swell Cycle is celebrating championship weekend with complimentary rides on Friday, March 30!

Day passes can be purchased for $12.00 or Monthly Memberships for $18.00.
